Maxi + Leather

The final look from the Fashioneda Fashion Shoot is finally here! This look takes something plain and simple like this olive green maxi dress, and turns it into a totally rocker/chic look. By adding a leather jacket, it transforms the look into a awesome night of the town outfit! This look is incredibly achievable and very affordable. I personally like the outfit with these chunky heels, but flats, or gladiator sandals would look good too!

Modern Military

This look is an updated, modern "military" styled look. This look contains lots of neutrals and olive greens. The top Kara is wearing is actually a thrift store item she found and it had this great military vibe that inspired the look. I paired it on top of a floral dress which makes it more modern and girly. I love her hair in this top knot bun because I think it makes the look have this "strong" and "tough"appearance but yet feminine at the same time. Enjoy!

Perfect Christmas Outfit

I thought I'd put together the perfect Christmas party outfit. Finding the right thing to wear to all the parties this time of year can be stressful, but here are some easy tips and ideas to make this holiday season of parties super fun to get ready for! You can never go wrong with a dress this time of year because it's one piece and you don't have to worry about finding a top and a bottom that will match. Also, long-sleeved dresses are great for not only keeping you warm but also they give off a more "wintery" look as well. Pairing the dress with some black opaque tights brings it all together by making it once again look more appropriate for the winter season, and also gives the outfit a little edge. All you need to finish the look is a pair of plain black pumps and some simple, yet elegant pair of stud earrings and you're good to go! Enjoy this holiday season with your friends and family and look fabulous :) Merry Christmas everyone! XOXO, Carrie

Spotted

Here is the second look from the Fashioneda Fashion Photo Shoot! This look is much more sophisticated and professional, perhaps something you would wear to a work environment. I know it's kind of a fashion law not to mix black with brown, but personally I love the way it looks and with the right shades of brown it can really make an outfit pop. Also, putting your hair up in a high pony with an outfit like this can transform your look from simple to runway! She is wearing a blouse from LOFT and black high waisted pants from Forever 21.

Winter Wonderland

Here it is!!...The first outfit from the shoot I recently did with my friend Kara, and the very talented photographer, Jeffrey Anderson. Even though this was my first time ever really "professionally" styling, I'm so happy about the outcome, and we all had an absolute blast! This first look consists of clothes all from my personal wardrobe. The idea behind the look is very wintery and mystical, it kinda reminds me of a snowflake! I really wanted to show that you don't have to necessarily buy all new clothes for your winter wardrobe (even though switching seasons is the perfect excuse to go shopping) and that a lot of your pieces from fall, spring, and even summer can be used for the winter season. So I paired a summer piece, like shorts, with something like a pair of tights, that makes it look and feel like a winter outfit. The hat is another piece that is very summery (I love floppy hats for a day on the beach), but since the hat is black it gives it a more winter feel. As long as the blouse is long-sleeved it's fair game for the cold-weathered season, you don't need to be wearing a sweater all winter long. And of course a simple black pump never goes out of style, no matter what the season. So, I hope you all enjoy this first outfit from the very first "Fashioneda Fashion Shoot"! There is more to come very soon so keep on checking back here!

Sneak Peek!

Here's a little sneak peek from the shoot today...Kara and I having some fun with the hairspray...more to come soon!

Update!

Today I had the AMAZING opportunity to do my very first fashion photo shoot! My dream is to become a fashion stylist so this experience was right up my alley! My best friend Kara, who is simply gorgeous, was the model for the shoot. Pictures were taken by the amazing Jeffrey Anderson, a local photographer here in my hometown. There were five different outfits, all styled by me, that reflected the fall and winter seasons. Once all the pictures are edited I will post them all on here and talk about them in more detail then. I can't wait to show everyone how they turned out! I'll talk to you all soon :)
