The Mothership Does It Again.

The Mothership.
The ultimate of ultimates.
The cream of the freaking crop.
That store is my JAM. I go to Target 3-4 times a week.
It's one of those stores that you go in for one thing and not only get that one thing, but also 100 other things (all of which YOU DON'T NEED).
I also tend to drop a ridiculous amount of money each time...oops.
Needless to say, my love for Target is so exponential that these words probably won't do it justice.
I may need help.
Now, after I've so nicely word-vomited all over your computer screens, shall we continue onto the goods?
Here is a little head-to-toe look I picked up last week.

A Dress & Some Leather

Part II of my "styling-a-leather-jacket" collab (VIDEO COMING THIS WEEKEND!!)
This look is how to style a leather jacket for a party.
I opt'd for this checkered dress (It might be the same dress I wore to Paramore...shhh don't tell!)
I like to wear something girly with a leather jacket because the jacket adds so much toughness and edge as it is, I don't want to look too edgy overall.
The shoes are actually the shoes I wore for my Junior Prom...
I will love these bad boys till the day I die.
I also think this look would be so cute with a floral printed dress!
What do you lovely peeps think??
See you soon...

A Romper & Some Leather

I'm so excited to announce I'll be doing a really fun collab video on my YouTube channel with my friend Dani of stylebydani. We decided to show each of our own ideas on how to style a wardrobe essential: a leather jacket.
The video should be up next weekend so keep an eye out for that!
I decided to take advantage of some of the pictures I took during my shoot and show you the outfits!
This is one of my favorite looks because you know me and rompers get along VERY well.
I don't know what it is, but I'm so gravitated toward them.
Hope you enjoy this look from the video, until next time...

Ain't It Fun

Happy Friday loves! I'm currently blogging on the road, from my phone, so we'll see how this goes!
I come to you in a state of complete and utter happiness. Last night I attended a concert that was probably the best one I've ever been to.
Paramore is a band, and they totally rock.
The show was out of this world.
Besides the fact that I was 5th row, I've never been to a show where I felt so alive.
I know it's cheesy sounding but there was some magic in that room.
Not to mention Hayley,
(the lead singer of Paramore in case you take residency under a rock), retweeted my picture from the show.
That ruled.
But I guess I should talk about fashion now, ehh?
Oh yes! My outfit yet again reflected the vibe and feel of the night.
I chose this adorable checkered dress from Forever 21 and threw a loose sweater over top.
For shoes I kept it comfy (rule #1 when attending a rock show: BE COMFY)
But also manage to look cute ;)
This night was one for the books.
I will definitely never forget this one.
See you soon.

Rock Show Grunge

So I tend to be the kind of person that likes to dress appropriately for the event I'm attending. Whether it be shopping, a party, biking riding, or in this case a rock show. I just recently attended the Spring Fever Tour including my ABSOLUTE favorite boys from the UK: You Me At Six. But the lineup also included Mayday Parade, Pierce The Veil, and All Time Low. If you know anything about any of those bands you'll understand why I chose to wear this ensamble to the show!
I freaking LOVE the plaid-shirt-around the waist-trend so I thought I'd give it a go.
It probably doesn't look as good on me as I'd like but regardless I loved the look!
Enjoy the post you lovely bunnies and I'll see you soon!

We originally had realllllly good seats for You Me At Six who opened the show, but once we left to get some merch we decided to sit in the back and just enjoy the rest of the show!

Mixing Patterns

It might not be a favorite to others, but mixing patterns is one of my favorite things to do.
Within reason, of course.
I like keeping the colors in the same family so your eyes are too thrown off by different patterns and opposite colors.
Hope you enjoy today's look
See you tomorrow...

Touch of Country

Although country is not my favorite music genre, I do really like the style it has influenced.
I'm a huge fan of pairing boots with dresses. I think country music and the overall country "scene" has really taken that trend and made it their own. I love the look of edginess that boots give off and mixing it with a feminine piece like a dress.
For today's look I added this blue button up to add some pop of color and make it really stand out.
I will most definitely being wearing the dress and boot combo all summer long!
